We packed our bags, left the purple phone booth at home, and flew halfway around the world to bring Lyngo to the UK.
Therapy Expo 2025 at the NEC Birmingham was our first proper event outside Australia — and what a way to kick things off.
The UK has one of the most developed therapy and rehabilitation sectors in the world. Physios, osteos, chiropractors, massage therapists — all juggling the same admin chaos we see back home.
Missed calls. Endless voicemails. Receptionists drowning in phone admin.
We wanted to show them there's a better way.
Our iconic purple phone booth couldn't make the 17,000km journey (freight costs, customs paperwork, and the fact that it's enormous), so we did the next best thing: we found a proper British phone box to showcase Lyngo at the event.
Turns out, the Brits appreciate a good phone booth as much as we do.
Therapy Expo was massive. Over 2,000 therapy professionals across two days, and we were lucky enough to be named in the Top 25 must-see exhibits.
We ran live demos all day — showing how Lyngo answers calls in real time, books appointments directly into practice management systems, and handles the kind of admin that usually eats up hours of a clinic's day.
People got it straight away.
Some came back multiple times. Others brought their colleagues. A few clinic owners admitted they were already using Lyngo and didn't realise we'd be there (always a win).
Was great to finally catch up with the HMDG crew in person. We've been chatting for ages but nothing beats a proper face-to-face.
One of the best moments? Running into clinic owners already using Lyngo — halfway around the world from where we started.
That never gets old.
Turns out a British-style phone box at a UK event is peak branding. We should've done this from the start.
We left Birmingham with a stack of conversations that'll shape what we build next — new integrations, bigger clinic groups, and a clearer sense of how Lyngo fits into the UK market.
The therapy and rehab space here is hungry for tools that actually solve problems, not just add more software to manage.
